As 2016 rolled in I felt the need to find a more balanced version of myself, so I thought, what better way than yoga.  I figured everyone I knew that practiced yoga seemed to have their lives in focus or at least had the mindset to realize that focus was needed.

So…

I went along with a friend to my first yoga class in Feb. In the silence of the candlelit class my thoughts were loud, my breathing was conscious, my muscles felt sparked with enthusiasm and I felt alive! It was like a workout, without working out.

And even though today I am nowhere close to being a yogi, infact, I hardly know the basic poses, somedays I swear I sprain my fat when I try some of those poses, but guess what I still do!
